One of fat-free products, Hot Molded Snack which is commonly called "Ponsen" in Japan is a kind of traditional Japanese fat-free puffed snacks yet produced by modern technology. Variety of product shapes and sizes are available by simply changing the mold dies. So wide-range of gain grits are applicable to HMS-70, for example, rice, wheat, corn, even soybean. The most widely used raw materials are crushed snack pellets made of extrusion system and E-Series line etc..

Our Hot Molded Snack Processor HMS-70 is fully automated, and you can rely on it by simply feeding the raw materials to the material hopper because it is fully automated, from feeding of metered amount of raw materials to each mold, compress the fed materials, shaping the baked and puffed product and discharging the product from mold to product discharge chute. You get fully puffed baked molded snack automatically and continuously in the capacity of approx.58,000 - 75,000 pcs. (4 units of processor in one set) per hour. High power hydraulic unit built in to each machine ensures high performance of control of pressure in each mold.

Processed product is already crispy enough for direct consumption but slurry form oil-seasoning or powder flavor is commonly applied to the product to make it up as commercial product. The unique flavoring system getting very popular in the market is to apply water-soluble seasoning and rapidly dry it up. In this case, the seasoning perfectly adheres to the product and yet fat-free.
