However it was noted that expansion character of materials used like wheat, corn, tapioca, potato would not instantly provide flat quality round shape snack but mostly resulted to cap-shape or waving of edge because of expansion during frying.

Today, as a result of thorough study and development by our Food Engineers, we successfully produce a thin flat round shape snacks made of any of the wheat, corn or potato based material. We now have the edge to produce the flat shape without experiencing the waving and cap-shape product by stamping round shape die into diamond-net designed dough sheet. Please see the attached picture.

Normally pellet made of wheat flour has high tendency to form waves or cap-shape while in the frying kettle but the net-design evenly distributed the stress in each segment during expansion while frying thus it form relatively flat snacks. Further, we confirmed in our study that regulated expansion can be achieve by adjusting the formulation to obtain almost perfect flat very crunchy product. With this new developments, our E-series machine attained another step to prove its versatility. Please find attached picture showing pellet and it's fried product made from wheat flour materials. For your reference, the stamping die used for the sample was 28 mm diameter.

Presently we are also in the process evaluating finished product using our Hot air Roasting system by HAR-200 as another variant of the NP Flat Round Fabricated Chips (NP FRFC) to produce non-oily crunchy unique taste chips. Surely this is another interesting product. We believe we can obtain a perfect result out of this test that will definitely be looked after by the market.
