| CEREAL / CHOCOLATE MOLDING MACHINE
Polycarbonate
Mold trays are fed one by one
by a mold pusher automatically
to the first processing section,
Force-Depositor. Cereals such
as broken snacks, nuts, wafer
etc. or its mixture are put
into the mixing conveyor feeder
by an inverter-controlled, screw
feeder. Meanwhile, the mixing
conveyor also receives melted
chocolate from the chocolate
service tank with inverter-controlled
gear pump. The well-mixed cereal
and chocolate are fed into the
hopper of the Force-Depositor
where they are accumulated up
to the set level controlled
by the level sensor. As the
mold trays below the Force-Depositor
hopper move, the chocolate-cereal
mixture fills the cavities of
the tray by a series of rollers
just above the mold trays. They
deposit and press the mixture
into the mold and roughly level
off the surface. After depositing
and leveling, two units of Flat
Scrapers ensure that the surface
of molded product is flat across
the width and length of the
mold trays. This will ensure
that the bottom of the molded
cereal chocolate is flat and
smooth after demolding.
The mold pushers
and scrapers are all pneumatic
while the depositing and leveling
rollers are inverter controlled.
The whole machine is microprocessor
controlled using a programmable
logic controller to ensure full
automatic operation and synchronization
of the whole process. It also
allows flexibility in installing
additional accessories in the
future to make different types
of molded chocolate products.
